Restore checks
Prove a snapshot can be read back.
What a restore check does
A restore check mounts the latest (or a named) snapshot on the storage node and reads it back — a real restore into a scratch location, then discarded. The result is a receipt like any run, so the audit trail shows you exercised your backups, not just took them.
