Getting started
Test and live environments
A tenant has two environments. They share a name and nothing else.
What differs
| Test | Live | |
|---|---|---|
| Key prefix | dsk_test_ | dsk_live_ |
| Users | Simulated in DevSewa Sandbox; no AUTH_APP tenant | Real users in an isolated AUTH_APP tenant |
| Callback URLs | http://localhost allowed | https:// |
| Simulated; no provider delivery | Your production sender domain and provider | |
| Audit | Recorded | Recorded |
Going live
- Open the application and choose Add live in its environment switcher. You do not recreate the app.
- Mint a live client secret and store it separately from the test one.
- Review the copied callback URLs, origins and sign-in policy. Remove localhost and test-only values before serving users.
- Set the production sender domain under Mail and send a test.
The API hosts and routes do not change. Your
dsk_test_ or dsk_live_ client secret selects the environment on the server. Keys, secrets, users and product data are never copied.
